I looked at photos of the Buick wagon and the Olds side trim. The layout is different- Buick trim is wider and the Buicks is different in that it kicks back and the Olds is a straight line from front to back...

I started this job just about two weeks ago. I'd been collecting all the parts that I needed since I bought the car at the beginning of July...

I am going to use Woodgrain for Wagons in Long Beach to do the wood. It's going to have to wait a month or so because I've had a couple of unplaned expenses with my Toronado and my Ninety-Eight.

    Picking up today

I dropped off an NOS(!) luggage rack to be installed this morning, then, I'll be picking up the wagon! Looked great parked outside the body shop this morning!

I'll take some with the interior showing, but I think the color looks great with the light grey seats...

    Woodgrain Installed!

December 28 I drove to Lakewood, California, and had Mick install the woodgrain on my Custom Cruiser. It came out way better than I thought it would.

Mick is a very nice guy, had fun watching him install, he's really into what he does.

I really liked this wagon before, but now that it's gotten 'wooded' I am totally in love with it.

Next step: installation of the stainless belt trim. STILL NEED THREE SECTIONS:

The driver's side front fender, the fore and aft sections around the fuel filler door on the driver's side.

The total was $1100. $800 for the materials, and his installation charge was $300. I have to say, it looks outstanding, he does an amazing job with it.

    Thanks!

The interior is pretty below average. Cracked dash pad, worn fabric on driver's seat. Slowly collecting the parts for interior. I'll take some when I have a few minutes.

where did you finally find the trim for the front fender above the woodgrain? That is the piece that I need now.
    Thanks!

Does this include paint and woodgrain? That's an amazing price for what looks like a really good job. I want to get mine painted.
