It's our favorite dealer, Gateway Classic Cars. They do seem to get nice stuff. I wonder if they ever sell any of it.
Some of the ad text: " This Buick Electra Estate Wagon has a 5.0L V8 miles made for cursing on the highway with ease." Aw come on guys. The 307 isn't THAT bad........... ............................................................................ At that asking price, you would think they would spend $350-450 and replace the headliner, but nooooooo...............
I recognize this car. It belonged to a guy in Minnesota or Missouri; Can't remember exactly which one. It's the color that I remember. It's not one that you see very often. The owner wanted $6500. I was very interested in it, but the only pictures I could get from him were inside an enclosed trailer. I, along with the guy that was trying to help him sell it, finally gave up. The price is ridiculous. Even if you cut it in half, it's still questionable to me. Nice car. Had two wagons and two sedans with 307 engines. Never any issues. Great gas mileage.
This is certainly a nice looking wagon. It looks to be quite the time capsule. I agree that the asking price is ridicules, but you never know. Some Clark Griswold wanna be with deep pockets might fall in love and pay up for it.
What do you consider great? I'm currently averaging about 13mpg. The ad is incorrect, it's not a 3spd tranny, it clearly has the same 2004R that my car does. In fact, it is optioned very similarly to mine (307/2004R, auto leveling system, A/C, power seats, power everything else, wood trim with chrome below, cornering lights) and even the same year. Yes, it's a looks nicer, but it's not perfect and I paid $14k less!
