There is a photo showing the original radio, so apparently it could be put back if you wanted to. That is one gorgeous car, and, if it sells for anywhere near the current bid ($5800), it would be one hell of a buy.
That's quite a bid jump from this morning. With that much interest there, what'll you bet it goes for far more than market value
I gotta admit - that sure is a pretty car. But oy - look at that bidding. Looks like the bidding on the wagons from Mr Dingdong from Indian Wells, CA. Looks like two bidders and there's still 9 days left.
Wow. Usually I don't like the saturation of color like this, (prefer it's broken up a bit) but honestly, I actually really like it.
Yeah, you can always depend on the Ding Dong types from California to push up bids beyond the vehicle's worth. Not to insult normal Californians. But, your state wasn't known to us as the State of Fruits and Nuts for nothing. This wasn't meant to describe decendants of homesteaders who had to cross the Mississippi and Rocky Mountains. But, rather those who later seeped in, attracted by mild weather or were ecaping the rigidity of traditional society back home
That dealer listed on the plate, Marvin K. Brown, is still in business in Sandy Eggo, selling Cadillacs, Buicks, and GMC trucks......
Bidding seems to have slowed down to a trickle, within 24 hours. I wonder how many shills were used to get the price up that high within so little time. The absence of reserve is enough to arouse suspicion
this guy "Fleet of Cars" seems to always have these type of clean low mile cars. Have followed him for quite a while.
Not a bad place to stall. That's not a bad price. These things aren't worth infinite money regardless of condition. He's done well even if it doesn't go another penny higher.
