The V6 is easy to change. Finding a clean G-body these days is not so easy. Maybe it is just internet lore, but I've always been leery of G-bodies with T=tops.

Why? It's body-on-frame construction, and as long as you maintain the seal integrity (and keep a couple spare sets of glass), there should not be any leakage unless the car was badly repaired from a major collision.

The pics are not great but this GP looks very clean and appealing. As mentioned, replacing the V6 is easy. 350 V8 anyone? Asking price is not bad, given how nice it looks - option level is very high.

Did anyone even notice the bubble directly ahead of yous, almost in the middle of that vinyl topped C-pillar?

T-tops leaking would be the least of my concerns. The G-bodies weren't exactly known for their chassis rigidity. I can't imagine cutting half of the roof off would help. I still like the car, but I like all of the BOP G-body cars.

Well, chassis rigidity would've contributed to leaking, if GM hadn't addressed the issue. But I see your point, especially if you use the car for, *ahem* "severe duty." You have always seen chassis twist from A/G-body cars in drag racing, you won't really get away from it no matter what you do.

I've emailed the owner twice about this GP. No response.

Seller seems quite eager on this one (extreme sarc). :disagree:

I have now emailed three times (the only means of communication provided in the ad) with no response each time.
