Extremely low option.
It's by no means perfect, but it does look pretty good. Interesting that he has no reserve on it, and, at the moment, the bid is at $900. It'd be a great car to pick up for that price. It does have A/C, trip odometer, tilt wheel, remote-control mirror, and a check-engine light, which means at least a crude version of an engine computer. I didn't think cars as early as 1982 had check-engine lights. It's nice that the dash wasn't cut to put in a modern radio. He did, however, cut into the rear panels for speakers. No third seat. Too bad he didn't take a few photos of the engine compartment.
I could love this car.
No AC. But does have a 1980s GM factory stereo.
You're right. I didn't look closely at the climate controls. I don't love it as much.
That is affectionately known as the "Change Engine" light. It is for oil pressure. It isn't a check engine light like in a modern car.
Sold for $2500?
Back with no mention of the previous listing and "sale."
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe the buyer got hinkey, or he didn’t realize it didn’t have AC. You would think by ‘82 that had to be ordered AC delete. It’s still kinda interesting.
