    Is it me or do i see surface rust in the back, bottom of the rear fenders ?

    Yes, it looks like it. Looks like more than surface rust to me. It looks like maybe a little bit in front of the rear wheels too. Looks like a clean car otherwise.

    Not necessarily, but it's a good asking price. For all their popularity on this site, station wagons, in the real world, are not highly sought after as collector cars. The person who buys this car might just be looking for daily transportation that would last for a few years before being junked, rather than restoring it.

    The car's rust issues have been pointed out. I think this car is probably ultimately worth somewhere in the $2500 to $3500 range. If someone offers him anything over $3,000, he should negotiate seriously but probably take whatever the buyer's final offer is, if he doesn't want to potentially still be looking at the car in his driveway a year from now.

    In my opinion.
