So he didn't end it early on Sunday? It just ended because time ran out? I hope you hear from him again. But if not, we move on!
Correct on all counts. But I do like the car - a unique and rarely seen Toronado model. Especially like the looks of that bucket seat interior. I looked up the numbers, of over 41k Toronados built for 1981, just under 2500 had the XSC option package, which included full instrumentation.
Seller has been diligent about new and current photos. Clearly needs a complete repaint as well as bumper fillers front and back. Interior does look decent aside from headliner shot. Thoughts about price now? I'm told it does run and drive as is but AC does not work.
It's funny, but you put the photo above up against this one, and it doesn't even look like the same car. Interesting how the light affects the color. The price seems reasonable. The car is obviously going to need some work, but the interior is nice, and the darn thing runs, which is a lot more than you could have said about the Toro I bought! And for the same money! The first thing you would have to do is find an "O"so "T O R O N A D O" is complete again on the nose of the car.

Yes, I asked for new photos for a reason. Soft winter light can hide a lot. The interior looks pretty nice, including the Factory Eight GM 1981 stereo system. I've asked it and the power antenna work - note we also have a GM CB. I do think the "O" for the nose will be a challenge to find. But part of the fun.
You do realize, the car's from Missouri (The Blow Me State), and the 'O' in Toronado is missing, any guesses why? I know....
