Looks nice. These usually were driven into the ground. 1981 Chevrolet Monte Carlo - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... (craigslist.org)
Actually looks like a good car for a reasonable asking price, is the seller actually attempting to sell a car? Unbelievable
Yes that is the one! His name was Gossamer before some enterprising capitalist decided to can & Sell him! I used to have a 1990 red Miata with a 302 Ford V8 and a RX7 trans & rear axle, that car was named Gossamer. He suprised quite a few cars around Detroit in the late 1990's. I sold it to a kid that tried to kill a very large tree with it about 2 weeks after he bought it. (kid was actually 25 years old) Lucky for him he did not have anyone in the passenger seat as that door was pushed in to the center of the car. His father actually tried to sue me over selling his adult son an "unsafe" car. I pointed out to the judge I had driven it for 5 years and put over 45,000 miles on it with out an issue. And he then said something like you can't regulate stupid, and thew out the case. So after that my wife has always considered my overpowered little cars to be "canned Monsters" I know more than you asked for, sorry.
Not at all. I thought there was probably a story there. Imagine trying to sue you because you sold him an amazing car that he didn't respect.
It would have been funny, if you would have asked his dad, in front of the judge, if he would try suing the tree next
I asked my mother why all the Loony Tunes whore at least 1 article of clothing (or at least a collar with some of the cats & dogs) She told me that back then even cartoon's could not be "Naked" it was considered by the sensors to be obscene. Even Bugs Bunny wore gloves to get around that issue. It was a different world back in the 1950's. I started to notice they all had something on them, she may have told me something to shut me up, but I never questioned her on it.
No, she's actually on the dot. The Hays Code (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hays_Code) saw to that.
