Great Looking Example of a rarely seen model even when new. Not as Powerful as the 1st gen GA's with 400 or 455 V8's under the hood. The 78-80 versions had either a 3.8 Buick V6, or a 301 Pontiac or 305 Chevy powering them. But for the day they performed pretty well.

I even like the colors on this one. Looks very clean for a Canadian Car. It was only Bid up to $2550.00 USD at the time of posting. Looks to be a no reserve auction. This one has the 301 4bbl powering it. Someone could end up with a very nice unique Cruiser. Its pretty Loaded I can see 14" Snowflakes, Tilt, Cruise, Pwr windows, A/C, Sport Steering wheel, Delay Wipers, Gauge package with a Clock, & AM/FM Stereo at Least.

    I like it.

1980 was the last year for the RWD Grand Am.

Was that on the same platform as the last of the Novas?

Probably shared the platform with the Monte Carlo/Regal/Grand Prix line. It sure is a pretty thing.

Yeah, but unless that driver is bigger than I am, it looks like the car is smaller than an A-/G-body.

So it's just a bit of styling. Got it.

Style, and much better suspension bits, along with better seats ect... but both the 1st & 2nd gen GA's were based on the Lemans, just like the earlier GTO's & the 77 C/A's.

Still shows bid to only $2550.00 when I pull it up.

I think anything under $5000.00 USD's is well bought for this one. The only thing I don't like is 1980 is the 1st year for the electric Carb's & Dist's.
