Door bottoms are clean which are a weak point on these cars for rust. Front fenders and bumper are tweaked. He'd do well to actually clean it up. As it sits it doesn't show very well at all. I guess the low mileage is great, but I'm more concerned about overall condition than mileage myself. As it sits I think he is reaching a little bit on the price.

I know this car. I used to see it every day. Literally. It was owned by the nuns at St. Casimirs! I remember that car from anywhere with the old defunct "Turner Ford" plate on the front. I will be almost positive that the 49K is real.....it was always garaged and it would come out every morning out of the nunnery garage. The priest bought himself a loaded up Grand Marquis and the skinflint gave the nuns this.....

That's an interesting story. I wonder if buying a nun owned car has the same appeal as getting one that was driven by a little old lady?

car is overpriced the way it sits today, low mileage is ok for some parts - but would assume gaskets and seals are shot

do you really think God plays favorites?
the car wasn't made by Nuns - then I would say it would make a difference.

Yeah, but it's not like you can get into too much trouble with a Fairmont wagon 6 cylinder, as say opposed to its V8 Fox chassis Mustang brother.....

I can't argue with the seller being lazy and not cleaning the car up, but in my area $2500 for a running driving car of any type is Cheap! I am sure $1500-$2000 would buy it if you wanted it.
