Nice looking car, but there is a reason why most carb'd 3.8 V-6 Turbo's are "low Mileage"

Good point and that is very true from all I have read. 1980 was the last year for the bucket seat option for the 1979-85 Riv.

My mother had a 78 Turbo Regal it never did run very well when it was under warrenty, the dealer could not fix it, at 22,000 miles I decided to pull the turbo and just run it N/A. When I pulled the intake manifold we found a casting void almost 1/8" that was opening the rear intake runners to the crank case! Decided to try and plug that internal vacuum leak and the car be came drivable, not grear but drivable. At least she could trade it in for the 4-speed 79 Grand Prix she wanted.
She always liked the looks of these Rivi's but the V-6 and the fact they are FWD always made her not buy one.
