Nice. was the chrome on the bottom normal? I don't remember that.
Might have been a part of the upscale Landau package vs the base LTD, chrome trim all around.
It's got cornering lamps too on an otherwise unremarkable interior.
Neither do I and one of the photos shows the car without the chrome. Methinks the seller added the brightwork. Could be some type of wrap maybe ?
Chrome is normal.
Pre kids, back around 1985, wife and I were going to Vegas with another couple. We had the '85 300ZX at the time, and I don't remember what else (probably the Toyota P/U), so we rented a Mercury Grand Marquis from Enterprise. It made for a pretty nice trip, being in that floaty sedan. Might have even been the same color as this Crown Vic.
The chrome was Landau trim. It’s really interesting that it has cornering lamps and A C and that’s about it. Does have deluxe bumper group. AM, no cruise, standard interior, and crankers Kinda bear bones, but it is pretty. By ‘78-‘79 the Landau, although different body types were at least being somewhat optioned up from the base LTD. Love the color.
