1979 Datsun 510 Wagon

    EVERYBODY loved the old 510 series from Datsun, back in the late 60's to early 70's, so what was Nissan/Datsun to do to try to regain some of those sales figures that they lost? Well, when the ugly 710 series was up for a redesign, they just made a slightly larger version of the 510, and renamed the 710 as the 510.

    At least, that's how I remember it.........

    I remember it the same Krash. This is what a 510 Wagon should look like. My wife had one in this color when I met her in 73. Unfortunately, Maryland had a run of bad winters at that time and the road salt killed it.
