Considering it's loaded and already has the V8 in it, I don't think the price is that out of line. Problem is going to get it......
Interesting in the fact they were designed to be front wheel drive, and when time ran out the grabbed what they had available for the driveline.
AMC initially considered a front-wheel drive design for the car, but BEFORE it was actually put on paper. The car they made never was considered for FWD. It WAS supposed to have a rotary engine in it, though, courtesy of GM, but when GM cancelled their wankel engine development, that plan ended, too, They had to do a 'hurry-up' to get the 6-cyl to fit.
