Probably an abbreviation for DeLuxe? Look what showed up in its place, under that very link, with my favorite mag wheels:
"Down Low" - as in that when your friends are used to seeing you in say, Lincolns and Mercurys, and you just bought a Concord wagon you really like - that'd be the way you'd drive it......
Makes sense. The "deluxe" explanation that is... Down low, so your friends can't see you behind the wheel?
Perhaps, but I gotta admit, that Rambler ragtop is quite fetching in that color with those wheels....
I agree, I like the Rambler ragtop. It's unique. Would probly be the only one at the local cruise night.
