Not mine... Found on Craigslist. Don't know why it has fuel injection, since most 1978 Cadillac's were carburatored engines. The fuel injection was reserved almost exclusively for the Eldorado's. Not certain who did the conversion, but it appears to be worth the asking price.

I am relisting my 1978 Cadillac Station Wagon. Not an ambulance or hearse. Built as a 6 passenger wagon. This car has 120,000 miles and is a daily driver. All tags and inspection are up to date, car has a clear texas title. AC has been converted to 134, but will need to be recharged. Leather interior, VERY nice condition, no rips or tears. Car does need minor rust repairs on right and left rear quarter sections. It is a 425 fuel injected with no leaks. The car is located at my home in North Dallas, 75229. and has recently had new calibers, air shocks, battery, and tires. I have lowered the price from 6500 to 3,500 This car MUST be sold before the weekend. Come and see for yourself and make any fair offer, and you can drive it home. Please, no texts or emails, as I will not respond. Calls only. Call Art at 214-200-5724. Thanks.

I looked at this wagon a few hours ago. It's on the way to my wagon. Was going to take some pics, but camera crapped out. Caddy wagon looks nice, well done. Was definitely a top of the line conversion. Fleetwood leather seats are beautiful. Dash has some cracks. Illinios rust, but with some repair, would be pretty dang nice! He said he would take $3,300 for it. He sounds very motivated. David :)

IF I was shopping right now, I might have been interested. Saw the ad last week. Had to look again at the price. Says he was originally asking $6,500.

This sounds like a pretty good deal. Done the right way with all GM components. And you'll be the only one on your block.....

The only thing I don't like on these Caddy wagons is the vinyl top. That would have to go, then I'd have to get work done on the seam where the Caddy sedan roof ends and the wagon roof begins. Maybe cover it up with a jazzy chrome molding instead.

Sure would like to see more of that wagon! He won't answer anything but phone calls. I like the fact that Wixy has seen this wagon and gave fairly positive comments. I'm a little confused about that engine and would like to see that, too. I like what I see and would buy it if it checks out AND if Wixy would fix the rust areas.:D

SF, really? You're thinking of getting it? What a great addition. I say go for it if it checks out.

I like wagons, I like Caddies, I like big engines, I like comfort, I like old and I like unique. Yeah....I might buy it if it checks out. I'm concerned about a few things, though, like rust under that vinyl top and , especially, that "Illinois" rust that Wixy mentioned.

You know....this convert looks like it has a dual gate. I've never seen a Caddy wagon conversion that had a dual gate! Some of them had no functioning gate at ALL.:D

Yeah - that's what I like about it - it was done right. Period correct conversion - nothing done on the cheap. '78 Caddy, so the wagon parts are '78 as well - eveyrthing looks as if Cadillac had made the wagon themselves....

Oooo just noticed - it's got a moonroof, too.

Thanks, Tedy. I don't hold much hope. I don't think that wagon will last long at the new price. If Wixy gets back to me and he thinks it looks good I will pay him to go take it for a ride and give it the once over. If he still likes it a lot and it's not real rusty I will PP him a down payment.:yup:
