I almost bought one in that paint but with a brown interior, but the salesman wouldn't come down enough on the price to suit me. Really nice, enough leg room, just needed hop-ups on the engine.

Man that red interior and 1/2 vinyl top does not go with the yellow exterior! I usually like both colors, but not together. Loaded car but they didn't opt for the optional 350 or 400 engine? I owned a very base model 77 GP with the 2bbl 301 engine and it could not get out of its own way. I can only imagine what the extra 400-500lbs this car has can't help the driveability.

And if you buy it and pay a premium for it, I don't think you can drive it. Other than on & off the trailer.

Actually the car is not that loaded, other than the T-tops, the only other options it has that my car didn't is cruise control, tilt steering column, and the 8 track player on the AM Radio, & rally II wheels. It also has sport mirrors. My car just had the chrome drivers side non remote outside mirror. So this car would probably only be about 200lbs heavier than my car, and most of that would be the T-tops & rally wheels.

It has 177 miles on it because no one wanted to drive a 301-2bbl car. The color combo isn't that great either, that yellow just screams late '70s all over the place.

All the miles were at night where it looked dirty white in the dark. Lol

Personally, I think it didn't sell because of the color combination. If there was any car screaming for a color change, this is it.

Really is a very bad color combo.

Back in the day when you could factory order a car pretty much any way you wanted. To each his own...

Best comment so far. But it was either that, or some dealership dillhole messed around with the dealer stock's order sheet.

Bid up to $25,000 with 1 day left, I am speechless about the bidding so far. Nice example sure but $25,000. If you drive it it will soon be worth $6,000-8,000.

Yeah this car, this auction are keeping me flummoxed. I don’t get the wild bidding, and on that car. But to paraphrase mrvans. There is a butt for every seat. I think you would have to keep this as a trailer queen. This car with 70,000 and “normal wear” would be hard pressed to move the needle much higher than $6-7gs. It’s definitely the sizzle that’s selling it

Bid To $36,000 On 1/4/21. No sale.
    1. once you drive it , its price drops a lot. with 117 miles you cant drive it except on/off trailer.
    2. color combo is very weird. If it was the yellow, with tan/white/black interior maybe...

    Cant believe it didn't sell.

This guy must think he has the Hope diamond. I know it’s a new off the lot car, but as the big guy would say C’mon man! It’s not a unearthed Motorama car.

I would have taken the $36k and run like mad.
