Hey guys, I have a Beautiful 77 Gran Fury ( wagon of course ) BUT I need good front and rear seats for it that were removed before I got it ( long story ) anyone wrecking a rusty one?? any chance anyone has a number for the guy in Madison who was trying to sell that very rusty one last year ( no longer on craigslist )
any suggestions? I have the basic seats but need new or good covers in the correct Gold Vinyl.
Looking forward to any ideas? SMS has the Vinyl at $640.00 but I am getting crazy prices like $4,500 to sew them and that is with me supplying the vinyl!

At those prices, I think you would be better off finding replacement seats from some other vehicle, that fit your wagon's seat dimensions. A good welder / fabricator should be able to come up with some bracketry that mates up to your existing mounting points. As far as the seat covers themselves, if you can accept a 'non-factory' appearance, I know there are manufacturers out there who make nice 'slip-on' seat covers to order, for older American cars. More expensive that the type you might find at an auto parts store, but still quite reasonable, and they fit pretty good. Here's one company I found after 2 minutes of searching (didn't check to see if they could handle YOUR wagon, though):

Yeah, you can thank the car shows for driving prices through the roof. I would think, even for the $650 you already quoted, you could find some seats that can be dyed to be close until you find a set from a wagon part-out.

Yes a couple of your Beautiful Mopar wagons are coming to Australia and we just do not have any spares over here so I am trying sort out the unfortunate seat situation before I ship it home.
All I really need is someone close to Green Bay Wisconsin who has perfect seats for sale and problem solved ( HA )

Hopefully, you'll find one before it ships.

Would the seats from a Gran Fury sedan or coupe be the same dimensions as those for the wagon?

For $2200, the car would make a perfect parts horse, IF you can also afford the import duty and IF you have a place to store it once you get it.

The front seat may be the same but the rear seat shape has to be different, at least the lower bench cover. Better off just paying the trim shop the 4500 bucks by the time all is said and done.
