This car suffers from the same problem that many cars in the Great White North have. It's on the other side of forever away from most of the populated U.S.

With the exchange rate of 1.29, that's just over $2300 U.S.

Cost me about $2K (maybe $2200) to have a car this size trucked from BC to MD. Edmonton is not so far west, but farther north, so I'd guess it would be pretty close to the same. My car had more rust and problems than I expected from ad and seller's description, so my advice is to be prepared for the same.

That said, a '77 VC is quite rare these days, and it does look nice in the pics. Anybody want to roll the dice, here?

It hasn't sold because it's too far away from anyone who would want it. The $3,000 price is very good, but then add another $1000-$2000 to get it anywhere in the U.S. (as well as whatever headaches there are in getting it across the border), and it become a little less attractive.

He mentions some rust, and that's a concern for any Canadian car where they throw salt on the road with the same reckless abandon that my grandmother used to show when putting sugar in her coffee.

At todays exchange rate this car is only $2280.74 USD I think I do see some rust starting on the rear 1/4's just above the wheel well trim.

Definatly a nice looking car for a couple grand.
