Ah! Borderline hoopty wheels. Rest of the car looks nice, too bad about the wheels. Wonder what they are going to try and get for it...

Yes, it looks nice but I agree the wheels have to go. Something also looks off with the wood grain, Mercman? Is it correct?

I wouldn't mind that style of wheel, but not in that size for this wagon. Max I would go for this wagon would be maybe 17".

Maybe even smaller. Methinks a 77 Mercury wagon was designed for a much wider and compliant sidewall. This is no "canyon carver" no matter what you do to it.

No. Think it’s been redone. The original rosewood appliqué would have been just a touch darker, plus it would not have had the “sheen” this does. Very close, but methinks redone. Yeah those wheels gotta go, but very nice looking otherwise. Plus it looks like they somehow covered or painted the Mercury lettering on the tailgate. In looking closely I can’t even tell if it says Mercury or Lincoln. If it says Lincoln, that would have to go. At least same amount of holes in the tailgate, lol. Agree with jwdtenn that leather interior is gorgeous, and lots of goodies. The power mini vents are always a nice touch. Also not to nitpick, it has Ford tail lights. That’s the easiest fix.
