I love this wagon, the one i have sought after I don't think has those options but I haven't got a close look yet so I can be hopeful.

Think 12 might be a bit ambitious, but it is certainly a nice looking wagon. I like that light Jade metallic.

There are a few flaws in this car that, at least for me, make $12K more than just a bit ambitious. There are a couple of areas of rust, and I would expect absolutely none for that price, regardless of the mileage.

BIN down to $9500. Just under 24 hours left.

This is a very desirable vehicle with a lot going for it.

With the cars we’ve seen again and again here on this site, I’m surprised, as a repeat act it’s not sitting at a BIN price of $15,900. I guess we’ll just have to wait for the new buyer to get it, fix a couple of the issues and sing it’s praise as an old family friend, call it the vacation truckster, cause it is green and has wood. He may find a new pigeon that snaps it up at $8 g’s. It is a conceivable price. If I owned it I think I would fix the cornering lamp, window, and carpet. That takes out your list. I guess he’s to the point where he’s not gonna drop another dime in that car. The market already told you, that you’re only 90% of the way to your “want” price. Let’s see if it hits the last offer of $7,200. Usually on multiple EBay runs the price seems to slide down, rather than up. It’ll be interesting.

    I BOUGHT IT!

I had a very friendly, long and informative conversation with the seller. We settled on a price and I made the offer on eBay. Imagine my surprise when I started searching for info and found this post!

I can hardly wait to get it! I'm not afraid to put some money into fixing the few known issues and other things to make sure it's dependable. This type of wagon has been a dream of mine for more than 20 years...

Hey CONGRATULATIONS! Welcome to the forum as well. It certainly is a pretty car, and hopefully you got it at a price that will also afford you to fix those things he mentioned and not be too deep in. That light Jade metallic is really a pleasing color, and also love the “duraweave” interior. I have a ‘78 LTD wagon in that same combination with matching interior. You’re gonna enjoy this forum, and I think you’ll also have fun with that wagon. Good luck, and again congrats! PS. Glad we’re gonna see it in the future, and look forward to many pics and stories in the future.

Thanks for the welcome and the congrats. I got it for $7000. I really don't know if it's a good price, but it is for ME because I want it! (The value of a thing is what that thing will bring!) It was a barn find. He sent pictures of it all dusty, which I'll post when I get them off my phone. I'll definitely post updates, but I won't get the wagon for a couple weeks.

I'm new to forums...should I start a new thread or what, and where?
