no reserve. Estimate is 12-15. I'm going to be there. What would be a great price for this? http://auctionsamerica.com/events/f...ing=&category=Vehicles&SaleCode=AS17&ID=r0228
Great price would be free. A realistic price is a little tougher to nail down. Let's face it the demand for this particular model is not very strong at all. It really needs that one guy that has to have it. It looks like a nice possibly unrestored "survivor" car. I think their $12k-$15k estimate is extremely optimistic at best. Maybe this guy will be there bidding on it: http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/threads/1977-1979-fury-suburban-wagon-please-help-id.44505/
^^^^, you beat me to the punch.... I thought of that recent thread as well. Let us know what it goes for. I feel like Kevin is right, it's pretty high @ 12, unless matthewbailey08 is there and it is in fact their old car! I bet it doesn't break 10. I feel like if you looked and waited long enough you could find something similar for half that
12-15 is just their estimate. It is no reserve. It could sell 3-5. I'll open it at 1,000. Sometimes you can chase people off by 3. Sometimes you can't. Sometimes they get the opening bid too high. Key is getting a low first bid in. I'm guessing it is great at 3 and getting weak at 5 based on the other thread
If you got it for 3 I would be jealous. Any higher than 5,500 I'd be out. But that's just because I don't LOVE IT.
Hammered 5000. I almost jumped in but that would have been three on the day and I have to see if mine sell tomorrow before I fill a trailer! I will regret not buying it for 5250. It was very nice.
Back for sale from the dealer/flipper. It's got more flaws than we knew before. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1977-Dodge-Monaco-/252955770371?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368
The first dealer had it for sale forever, and now this one thinks he is going to quickly flip it at a higher price?
