I was all set to raise a ruckus.....

'77 Chevelle Malibus all had stacked quad rectangular headlamps - same as '76......or so I thought.

Just found out in checking the on-line brochures that the base model still retained the single round lamps you see here.

well bought for that price, I also thought all 76-77 Chevelle/Malibu's had stacked quad headlights, learned something new today.

Option choices are always so interesting on 1970s cars. The original owner sprang for AC, tilt, cruise and the 3rd seat, but not a remote control outside mirror, which was probably a $12 or so option at the time.

I seem to recall the higher trim 76-77 Malibu Classic had the quad headlights while the base Malibu’s like this wagon had the standard single beam.

Also no longer a one owner. Don't think this flipper will get anywhere near that price.

Since he paid $3568 and probably another $1000 max to ship it to California, he’s got around $4500 in it now. I’m sure if someone offered $5500-6K for it, he’d take it. You’d get a really clean original wagon for that price.
