Rocky's GMC would be the far better choice. :D

My dream on this one if I bought it, would be to find a Pontiac OHC 6 and put it under the hood......

Yeah pretty car, but a tad spartan.

That would be a cool project. I only remember seeing these engines in 69 Firebirds but I imagine they went beyond that.

I see an after market head unit, the red glow of the face plate would look like a Cylon on crack at night.

Bid to $11,100 - reserve not met.

Wanted $21k - what bizarre world do we live in now?

It has a Tic Toc economy meter? With a gauge package? I have never seen that option combo before. Last year for the Chevy I6, in 77-81 they used the 231 Buick V6. Plus it is a base Firebird, rare to see today. The aftermarket sunroof in a big minus IMO knocks about $21,000 off the asking price! Interesting car, but the seller is way over estimating its appeal IMO.

Agree totally about the sunroof. Big turn off.

Have mixed feelings about T tops, but these $295.00 cut out sunroofs are really pretty bad.

Nope. GM was on a big kick for 'corporate engines', and 1969 was the last year for the OHC 6 in the Tempest / LeMans and Firebird. Totally disappeared after that. Cammer Jeff may have more info about that whole deal........ (In fact, I believe he's got a cammer engine sitting on an engine stand still........)

I saw one at the machine shop I use, fully rebuilt, painted and ready to be installed.
