91k miles. Loaded. Said to have always been a California car. That's vinyl upholstery rather than leather like seller says, but this one is still a beauty. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima Appears to have every Town & Country option for 1976.
No reserve auction. Looks like someone is going to get a fine example of one of the largest station wagons ever built. :D

It looks just about identical to the photo car in the 1976 Chrysler dealer brochure.

One of my top 3 favorite wagons if not THE favorite wagon. I love this car and if it weren't for a problem I have presently I would own this one. I would like to see an engine pic, though...see if it's the lean burn engine. I like this car a lot. The wood doesn't look stock to me but I could be wrong. No matter...if the car is rust free and a good runner I would love to have it.:yup:

I love the styling of these '76/'77 Town & Countrys.....
This one's going with no reserve, too. Get your bid in.

This is an Orange County, CA vehicle - pretty much guaranteed to be in solid shape.

Looks to me like it might have a bit of 'haze' on it, Mike, but it does look like a stock pattern and color tone. Compare it with the pic from the brochure.

About the only option I can see that is not on this car is the styled road wheels. Other than that, this seems to be about as loaded as you can possibly get! What a beautiful car indeed.

Originally this one would have had the lean burn system. It may or may not have had catalytic converter(s) when new. I don't know about the mandatory option of "California Emissions Equipment" I remember back then seeing fuel consumption advertised as ** mpg, (&& California), with the 49 state cars having the higher number. If it is still lean burn eqiipped, it is easy enough to convert to normal ignition. Just always carry spare ballast resistors. These cars used 2 single contact, not the single double contact ones.

Were the styled road wheels available on the wagon?

Just looked up the brochure. No pic of the 'Road Wheels', but it does show the 'Road Wheels were 'N/A' on the '76 T & C....

It doesn't have the auto-temp air conditioning option either.

The woodgrain sure looks replaced to me, has that later generation Di-Noc flat sheen to it, plus it's in way too good of shape. I would guess it was all replaced when the fender and hood were painted so it would all match. I'd check that car out good because if the fender and hood were messed up and the woodgrain was damaged it was probably in an accident.

The biggest deal breaker on that car for me is that the little knob for the temp control is missing...junk it.:D
