Wonder if that two-tone is factory original? Never seen it before on a New Yorker of that era. https://www.hemmings.com/blog/2018/...-the-day-1976-chrysler-new-yorker/?refer=news
The Link works for me, I also do not know if the 2 tone is original or not, but it looks great on this car. The seller says it has had a "Spectacular repaint" so the paint itself is not original, doesn't help on the colors though. Does it look like a Pin strip or actual trim separating the colors? The lower side is definatly a Pin Stripe, so the upper probably is also. Looks like a great buy for someone that likes to drive a sofa on wheels! at $12,500 OBO.
Okay, it works now. Maybe, the government censors realized it wasn't one of those Youtube links they don't like me viewing. Though not original, the paint job is certainly an improvement. The artist was born too late. Otherwise, he could have taught automakers how to style their cars
It's not the original paint scheme. I know the owner, Stan, he posts over on the www.forcbodiesonly.com website. He built a '77 two-door New Yorker Brougham with a 440, but converted it to a 4-speed! It's a wild, white whale of a car that has been through a few hands after him over the past few years.
Only music video I know of in which a New Yorker Brougham is the star. Should be a crime to set it on fire, but they are limeys after all.
My Dads 75 Imperial had those same seats except in gold. What a pain for a kid to vacuum. so many places for cigarette ashes to hide.
