So it's a survivor with an aftermarket DIN radio, modern seats, modern steering wheel, and black primer sprayed on the driver's side doors. I see power windows\locks on the passenger front door but no switch on the passenger rear door...

It doesn't look too scary, but it would definitely require more inspection.

The carpet looks weird? I had a 66 mustang do that. Two pieces simply aged to to different colors.

For some reason GM 1970's Tan Carpet always fades to a horrible Greenish color. Must be the base color of the dye or something like that.

It's all about sun exposure. The part that is darker either had floor mats on it or didn't see as much sun as the rest. My tan carpet hasn't turned green like that, but I had a red carpet car of the same year that sure did! I think it's more related to the supplier GM used.

It can also do that when moisture has been in the floorboard. Those camel colored interiors all seem to do that. The carpet in my '79 Caprice looks exactly like this car.

Those Florida cars rot out from the top down and inside out.
That little steering wheel on a car that big cracks me up, looks like a clown car.:D The fuzzy dice aren't even regulation with the two side dots next to each other like eyeballs.:D

I've noticed that, too. When I was a teenager I wanted a '69 Charger and looked at a bunch (back before their prices went absolutely insane). Almost every one I looked at from Florida would rust from the underside of the roof and other panels. I assume it had something to do with the salty air. My folks have a place in Florida and the car they keep there will get oxidation on very specific places like the brackets for the alternator (I'm not sure what that part is made of but it has the appearance of unpolished pot-metal). My Clam ('71 Grand Safari) has only two more places of rust and I'll be replacing those when I replace the front end. One is the bottom passenger dogleg in front of the rear tire and the other is at the top corner, on the rear above the rear door, the same as this car. I'll be cutting that out and welding in new metal.

    Good deal, friend!!!!:yup:

You'll never find a better deal on a still functional '71-76 GM clamshell wagon at this point - despite any true negatives.
