Saw this car live in December. It’s pretty nice, but the vinyl top has some bubble issues. Uniquely optioned. Call me weird. I wish the top were dark green. Lol

Hah, the '76 LTD that Joe and Ash used to have, had that interior! We stripped it bare before junking the body buck and rolling frame; the front seat's in the '73 Galaxie (with that exact fabric pattern!), and the rear seat and all the other parts are in storage, awaiting the Galaxie's restoration.

Gosh for a second there, I thought I saw a ghost... That is the same color combo as the '76 LTD I had... The top was green at one point but faded or was painted black, pretty much identical to that.

Looking at the paint again, he's right, it is the same as the LTD's was. I had to compare it to a pic I had on my computer. It must've been a favorite factory scheme for it to show up on both a Ford and a Mercury!

5918071B-036F-4D5E-B23A-1E868E0C28F3.png Think it replaced that lighter mint/apple green from the ‘71-‘73 years. Think ‘76 was the last year for it. Think in ‘77 they had a light green. But not a pastel lime available on the big Fords. Shown in the ‘74 brochure a Galaxie coupe in pastel lime
