There is a 74 Impala headed for the crusher soon. I have a chance to rescue any parts. What wagon specific parts should I grab? Thanks.

Tail gate, controls\switches, wiring, and rear\side glass. Seat hardware from 2nd and 3rd row (if it's a 3-row) including seat belts. If the rear doors are any good they're wagon specific and people occasionally look for them. The rear plastic if it isn't broken and cracked is worth money too. The wagon specific stuff is really just from the rear doors back.

^This. Park it on your roof if you have to and make sure it goes to someone who will save it, even if you don't have the means to. Because, once they're gone, they're gone forever. :(

Welcome to the forum. Yes if you can save the whole car that would be great. It is true that once they are gone they are gone. Also if it’s something you like there are a great deal of mechanical parts that you could get from a 4 door sedan etc. good luck, and we do love pictures.
