Hope the oil soaked cardboard in the garage isn’t where the Torino rests. Seems like a lot of rust for the Antelope Valley. I would have thought the car would have been a little dryer not so close to the ocean.
The interior dash color is what my '74 Ranchero Squire had. And I think you're right about the cardboard; engines that old without getting new gaskets leak like sieves.
If he'd stripped the trunk and showed the actual level of rust, especially if it was only surface rust, would instill more confidence in prospective buyers.
