It is a good looking car, but by the tilt of the tail gate I suspect it has a cracked regulator. I swore I was nver going to repair another one of those!!!!!!

Good grief indeed. Per the seller's disclosure now all the new buyer needs to do is fix the a/c, update the 2013 date code tires, and try to get the power tailgate to work withhout manual assistance. Few dollars and a Saturday afternoon and good to go.

I did not see the Video, it definatly has a cracked regulator! That was an incredible selling price with the issues the car has. If you are going to pay someone to fix the A/C and the Tailgate operation, plus put 4 tires on it, you could spend anouther $10,000 in repairs. Wow

Now starting to think these are close to 'collector car' status, instead of just being interesting older station wagons. Values on the upturn, maybe?

This is the second ‘73 Grand Safari to sell on BaT for $36k. The sale in 2019 was better condition, but it appears that very nice, original clams have entered collector status.

Definitely collector status for the best examples.
