And condemned it to be a parts car or scrap. Good job. Considering what I paid for my RUNNING and complete '73, I can't imagine him having buyers rushing to his door.
While we cannot tell a lot from the one photo, this Pontiac does not appear to look terrible by any means. No engine or trans. at this price means it likely looks promising to a derby buyer, and that's a shame. GM is not building any more last I checked.
Yep, and priced accordingly...probably good for two derbies out of that thing. Derby guys will end up with this thing for 1500.00 and clean house. Kinda sad, 'cause the car was prolly decent.
If it's a GOOD SOLID wagon it will be a lot more than 1500. 2500 + Hell for 1500 I could probably afford to get it shipped here
I have an engine and transmission for it. I would have to swap it back and forth out of my '73 Grand Ville.
I emailed the seller and he said the floor pans were rust free and the frame was nice... said that the frame still has factory undercoating. He also said the interior is near mint condition. Definitely worth saving if someone had an engine for it. I am awaiting pics, will share once I get.
I've seen pictures of the interior, they are really nice indeed. I told the guy to request photos of the spare tire well and the rear window trim.
I can't find the interior pics I had of it. Interior is in good shape, to bad the woodgrain is so bad and the super rare vinyl top is junk. But you can't go wrong if it can be bought for less than $2,500 since it will sell as a smasher for that and you can part it out for another $1,000-$1,500. Wish it was closer to me and that's exactly what I would do. Or drop my fresh Butler performance 462 into it and make an awesome sleeper car
