Crappy pictures in the shade makes it impossible to determine anything about this car. Needs lots more, and better, pics of the whole car.

The tag sequence shows this to likely be a lifelong California car. Ten grand is not out of line, but this needs a LOT more information.

Let me get this straight. You want $10,000 for a car
that I know NOTHING about. Mileage, options, rust,
And 3 worthless photos in the shade. Well, where do
    I send the check to...?????:rofl2:

    Ad description:
Best offer. As is where is. Cash only. Former Chrysler executive car. Plymouth Fury III. Lots of spare parts. Woody wood grain. Needs some restoration. Don't think it's a Gran Fury - it's a Fury III Suburban, I think. I've never seen another one. Used to belong to a Chrysler sales rep then went to dealer owned. Wood grain is a little faded on one side.

$10,000 is way more than this one's worth. Even by the seller's description it's far from perfect. And a Chrysler T&C from the same period in seemingly better condition can't even pull $8k.........
    I'd say more like $5k........

    Marshall,
I'm with you on this one. I mean not even 1 interior shot! So, even 5K
might be high for what it might or might not need. AND very high miles.:hide:

168K is "very" high miles??? The car is 41 years old! That's a bit over 4K/year, averaged out.

My definition obviously differs from yours. "High miles" on something this old would be more like 200K. "Very high" wold be 300K or more. I'd be as leery of a claimed 10K car that old.

Obviously another California wagon. If I were looking for a nice older station wagon driver and it was closer I'd be very interested for that price. I agree it's too much. But it does look good and about any car with those miles on it goes for that. Even a Prius or a Subaru sedan.

If you talked to the owner, you had way more luck than I did. I sent an email and got no response. And I see no new pix have been posted.

The owners *finally* replied to my email. Here's what they said:

Most people have been impressed by the condition of this car but here's always
minor things to be done. The only rust we've seen is where the battery
sits. Yes the car runs. The engine is 400 cubic inches. Minor
maintenance, oil changes etc. were done by us -- I have other maintenance
records of work done by the local Chrysler dealer.

I asked for more pictures....let's see what happens.
