I'd like to have a Mazda RX-3 sedan or wagon. This one looks as though it was pulled out of a wrecking yard somewhere. Another guy who is pricing his car in not only $CDN, but also $US and Australian dollars. News flash: I don't think anyone from Australia is going to take the trouble to ship this car to the land of OZ. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html?adId=1401006898&requestSource=b
At that price, I doubt it'll move anywhere whatsoever, even without shipping. I see better cars junked here, every day. Tonight, they left a rust-free what looks to be a 1990 VW Polo, in front of the shredder. It was in this color. But, in better shape: https://www.autoscout24.de/angebote...bc23b76-76d2-182f-e053-e350040ae625?cldtidx=6
It's not a rotary, but I'd take this Mazda 808, for sale in Germany for Euro 5,500 ($CDN 8,200), over the Canadian RX-3. https://www.autoscout24.com/offers/...9f6fe71-4ab5-cc51-e053-e350040a066e?cldtidx=6
Or this beautiful Mazda 1800 for Euro 5,250 in the Netherlands. https://www.autoscout24.com/offers/...0dd517a-4f5f-ac37-e053-e350040a82b1?cldtidx=6
That Mazda wagon looks like it shares body parts and glass with contemporary Toyotas. Japs have always produced entirely different makes on the same assembly lines. I'd stay away from Dutch imports, unless you can get them for scrap prices. Their inspection certifications are only on paper. I discovered this, personally, this Summer. That 1800 looks sort of like a cross between an NSU RO 80 Wankel and a BMW. Being a Bertoni design, it shouldn't be surprising that the grille and headlamps look dead ringer Lancia It was also sold in the U.S.: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_Luce#first The hoodscoop was used to clear the 1800 engine which was a stroked-out 1500 originally used in that car. The taller block made that much difference. It was also available as a wagon
