No Reserve: 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special Brougham Wagon for sale on BaT Auctions - ending August 20 (Lot #53,530) | Bring a Trailer If Elvis ordered a wagon, this is what it may have looked like.
Notes: 1. At least 19 out of 20 Cadillac wagon conversions have a vinyl top 'hiding' the seam where the coach-build firm adds the wagon roof. This one doesn't have a vinyl roof. 2. If this were period-correct, it would have a Clamshell tail gate and wrap-around quarter windows. They used the previous generation's wagon bits. 3. Later-model front seats from something else, and a no-shifter console from (I think) a 1993 Impala SS.
Wow Krash. You really gave this the once over. When I saw the console and newish leather seats I moved along.
Man I just don't get it - note to all sellers - FIX THE DAMN AC ISSUES BEFORE SELLING. / rant mode off
One more point is that the 375 hp/525 lb-ft ratings were for the 1698-1970 engines at 10.5:1 compression and gross ratings. By 1973, GM was reporting net ratings of 220 hp/365 ft-lb at 8.5:1 compression. It would be interesting to know which coachbuilder converted this car.
So earlier today I was traveling north on 81 near Shippensburg PA and I saw this car loaded on a carrier traveling southbound. So whomever won this on BAT...if you’re reading this...it’s on its way!
