I have a leaking gas tank and need to know if there is a company making replacements? Mine looks like its been repaired a couple of times before. Thankyou in advannce
Before you try to find a replacement, check with a couple of radiator shops to see if its repairable.
I'm guessing you won't find anyone making new tanks for your car. I checked Rockauto.com, and they don't show any tanks for wagon versions of the '72 Chevelle. I checked the Spectra Premium, who are one of the largest manufacturers of replacement fuel tanks, and they don't show anything, either. If you can't have yours repaired, you might have to settle for a good used one from another car.

Thanks for all the input. This is the direction I'm going for now. I should have the tank out this Thursday and check out the damage. I'll post some pics.
