Way loaded to the max. https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/chrysler/town-and-country/2086410.html
Apparently, the deceased owner, Morris Sarnoff, collected Chrysler Town & Countrys. Let's just say I can understand the decision to part with this one........
The ad said this is the first to be sold, not the only one. I'd expect them to liquidate the entire collection. If you go to car shows, you'll note that there are two kinds of people. Those that are there to have fun, share camaraderie and see cars and those who are there to win trophies. The elder Sarnoff seemed to me to be the former, but I have the impression that the younger ones who accompanied him definitely fell into the latter category. I predict the reserve on this car is going to be sky high. At one point, '72 T&Cs were very popular among wagon people. I don't know if this is still the case, and I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that the reserve wasn't met.
I appreciate the people who were part of the greatest generation and the obits their families share. Here is a guy who appreciated his freedom and the freedom he preserved for us and did something great with his life. https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/t...spx?n=morris-sarnoff&pid=185261138&fhid=15592
