    Very interesting story.......

Auction bidding is at $8,600. Should be close to the reserve now, if the seller's reasonable.

With the condition and mileage, I would bet bidding goes to $10k.

Or higher. We've seen mint clamshells like this bring more than 10k.

It does look especially nice for 45 years old.

It will be interesting to see where bidding ends up on this gorgeous car.

It is missing some important options(third seat, power gate, 454) to keep this from "holy grail" status....but they are only original w/45k miles once. Great paint color also.

$13, 400 reserve not met is my guess. I think this one gets a premium because of back-story(true?) and it's not a dealer.

I think it is a very nice car and I would be happy with the options that it has. I think the back story is semi-interesting, but pointless. It was once owned by a guy that worked for the CIA. Woop.

I bet this thing goes for 15K. It seems like people will pay good money for a mint clamshell, especially a Chevy.

Bid to $16,650 - reserve not met- no sale. I cannot imagine what seller thinks it is worth.

Yep, if you look in the bid history, there's two bidders that are driving this thing sky high, both of which have very little feedback and have never been buyers. The winning bidder came in and looks like he snatched it at the last moments. But still, there's gotta be a sky high reserve on it to not sell. If that were me, holy heck, I'd already be shopping paintwork for my S55 and a Hawaii trip.

This is a superior Kingswood Estate with only minor options. What can you honestly expect it to bring? $20k or $25k? No way.
