Great Patina car. Woodgrain is faded just right. It's a weirdly optioned car. Power seat, cruise without tilt manual windows and locks, 8 passenger with rear window Defog.

Exhaust is not exiting out from under the car like it should, dash is cracked, rust on dog legs, dent in the door. Are these cars seriously worth this much in this shape???? Man.......I remember when this was a $6,500 car. Guess I'm out of touch on what these things are worth

This car is in my hometown. Was for sale last summer when I looked at it and I was incredibly surprised at the rust. I wonder if he still wants to keep the wheels and still try to get that much out of it?

The '73 Custom Cruiser I owned up to a couple of years ago was optioned almost identically. A/C, power seats, rear defog, third seat. No power locks or windows. Base AM radio. No tilt wheel. No cruise control. People back in those days bought cars equipped exactly as they wanted them and didn't spend a penny more.

Just because he's asking $12,000 doesn't mean the car is worth that much or anything close to it. Asking price means nothing. What it sells for is what matters.

Is someone really going to pay $8000 for a car that might be able to be driven home?

I'm also noticing the number of bids, currently at 38 with still 5 days to go.

Looks like the optional brocade upholstery - not seen that often on the wagons.

Is it me or does the 3rd seat not match?

You can always get a dash made.
