    Ach, no, my wee laddie! That's nae the original interior! But a bit 'o Scottish tartan looks good on this car! :cheers:

    (Now, I'm sure someone will tell me this is Irishtartan , not Scottish. :))

    Well he did say original interior so now the engine is also in question. Ill bet it has the original air in the tires also :)

    On that upholstery issue......

    I had a sneaking suspicion.......

    that the upholstery could be original, so I checked. So here is a page from the '71 Torino brochure. No picture of the seat fabric, but check out what it says in the text box in the upper right corner.......

    I do not know why you would choose that pattern but to each his own.
    Never cared for it on 69 Camaros either...

    The plaid trim was a factory option on Country Squire/Sedan in 1970 and Torino wagons in 1970 & 1971. I have only seen one in person in a 70 Country Squire. Page from 1970 Ford wagon brochure.
