Great looker, but I'm a bit skeptical on the "original paint claim"...... at least seller did not claim original interiour
Ach, no, my wee laddie! That's nae the original interior! But a bit 'o Scottish tartan looks good on this car! (Now, I'm sure someone will tell me this is Irishtartan , not Scottish. )
Well he did say original interior so now the engine is also in question. Ill bet it has the original air in the tires also
On that upholstery issue...... I had a sneaking suspicion....... that the upholstery could be original, so I checked. So here is a page from the '71 Torino brochure. No picture of the seat fabric, but check out what it says in the text box in the upper right corner.......
Krash thanks for clearing that up... I do not know why you would choose that pattern but to each his own. Never cared for it on 69 Camaros either...
The plaid trim was a factory option on Country Squire/Sedan in 1970 and Torino wagons in 1970 & 1971. I have only seen one in person in a 70 Country Squire. Page from 1970 Ford wagon brochure. 8.jpg
