Only one photo of it so far, but it looks nicely original. It seems that it's rare nowadays to see one of these that hasn't been butchered in some way. I'm guessing those wheelcovers aren't original, but if that's the extent of the damage, I can live with it. It'll probably go for $100k. https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0123-536485/1971-oldsmobile-vista-cruiser/
Many more photos are up now. The car is gorgeous inside and out. A true time capsule. It may not hit $100k, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it reach $50k.
any guess on the year of those hubcaps. they are Olds and don't look bad. probably look better than plane hub caps from 71.
Factory literature says they were "wire disc" wheel covers, newly available in 1972 and offered through 1977. So while unlikely they are "factory original" as delivered, they are close enough to the time period that if the buyer walked in and wanted them at a time when the dealer was trying to get rid of '71 models, I can easily see them being thrown in the deal. Stuff like that was definitely easy to get and change. I know a lot of the "custom" cars from the late '70s and '80s ripped off that wheel style without the Olds logo in the center (which these wheels don't have, so maybe they're an aftermarket factory-inspired piece) so they inspire a 1980s look and feel for me, especially since EVERY car maker was seemingly going to wire wheels like they were the missing link to Duesenberg. Or they could have come mid-year from the factory and the owner took the logos off, it's been 50 years ;-)
