Cool looking dash. The speedometer looks like it wants to be round. But can't. The upper half of that shift knob is missing. I'm not a fan of that steering wheel. I hope, the original's still there
I am not a fan of most of the mods done to the car, good looking example though, it will be interesting to see what it sells for, no reserve auction, presently at only $665.00
A friend of the family, a WWII veteran who was a paraplegic, had a '71 Toyota Corona MK II wagon like this, with hand controls. I would drive it from time to time. It was a big change from driving the '72 Ford Country Squire wagon we had at the time. I loved that little Corona. Too bad about the sun roof. I don't know why people had to do that to their cars in the '70s. Agree also, the steering wheel doesn't add anything to the car.
