He calls it a Bonneville, but that's not correct, is it? For nearly $10K, I shouldn't see rust like this. The car is worth more like $3000.
Nope, NOT a 'Bonneville'. When Pontiac decided to get back into the 'wood'-paneled wagon game (the 1967 Executive would be their first, along with the mid-sized Tempest Safari), the Bonneville Safari was already well-established as an upscale wagon, and had its own styling cues, like the wide lower body moldings. Pontiac elected to put the 'wood' paneling on a new mid-line model, instead of the top-of-the-line model, as virtually all other manufacturers had done.
Correct -- through '69. Woodgrain was standard on the Executive and not available on the Bonneville wagon. In 1970, however, although woodgrain remained standard for the Executive, Pontiac offered it as an option on the Bonneville. Agreed on all points already stated, this is a low option Executive Wagon, other than A/C it does not have many options, probably a 400 2bbl engine. IMO way over priced considering its condition and option level.
