Question: are the dual stripe whitewalls currently being reproduced?

Yes. Just google "dual stripe whitewall tires." Coker, at least, has them.

They are a good looking tire. Ford only used them a couple of years.

Me four. Great looking car . Always thought Ford copied that rear fender line from the Riviera but that is not a bad design to steal from.

Shhh! I'll let you guys in on a secret. These Connie coupes and the 69-70 fullsize Merc coupes(Marquis Montereys) used the same roof stamping. Just like my 69 Monterey has the same front turn signal lenses as a 68 Continental.

Always liked that instrument cluster design. Full gauges were rare on American luxury cars by that time.

Yeah. Plus that rolling speedometer. What a delightful throwback to the old Imperial type speedo.

    Bidders appear uninterested.

As nice as the car is, the market for these is limited. I think his starting price is too high. He does not have a reserve, though, so if you bid and are successful, you get it. But still, I'd start the bidding in the mid four-figures WITH a reserve.

Also, he doesn't have anywhere near enough photos, and two of those he has just show the door jamb sticker and the options list. He needs to show every aspect of the CAR when he's asking that much money.
