    Hi,
I am attempting to upgrade the wipers to intermittent on my 1970 Country Squire, I have bought a new intermittent switch and a second hand governor. My question is does anybody know where the governor sits in the car? I guess its in the engine bay but I cannot see any obvious place it would go.
    Many thanks
    Phil.

Usually, it plugs into the switch, then the harness into it, which would mean behind the dash.

Ok, Many thanks I will take a look for an appropriate place behind the dash for it. I assumed it was in the engine bay as the one I bought was quite corroded so I thought it would have been exposed in the engine bay. Cheers

If it's the motor itself, yes, it'll be either in the cowling or the engine bay, I'd have to look it up. But an electronic module not associated with the engine would be underdash.

The motor is under the drivers wing and up by the cowl, but it's the electro-pneumatic switch's home that I am looking for. Its not critical, I am sure I can find a suitable home for it, but I was thinking it would be nice to have it where it would have originally been on a car so equipped, but unfortunately there are not many others in this country that I can go and have a quick look at!
