    Hi,
I have a fuel leak where the filler neck goes through a rubber o ring into the tank of my 1970 County Squire, I have been trying to source a new seal but not having any luck, it turns out they are smaller diameter neck on the wagons, I measured the neck to have an outer diameter of 1 11/16” or 43mm

I was wondering of anybody knew of a source for a replacement?

    Many thanks
    Phil.

Do you have any idea on the cross section (thickness) of the required o-ring? Is it supposed to be a round or square profile? Over here you can get just about any size o-ring in almost any material you need from mcmaster.com but you would need to know what you need first.

Here is a list of all of the AS568 o-rings. Keep in mind that it might use an o-ring with a smaller ID than your filler neck that would require it to stretch slightly to install. https://www.oringsusa.com/html/size_chart.html

I don't think it's an O ring. If I recall, it's a rubber grommet that sandwiches the tank rim between top and bottom and stretches slightly when the filler neck is inserted.

I couldn't see it listed on Macs, I emailed Dennis Carpenter yesterday, but not had a reply yet, I also tried Filler Neck Supplies too to no avail. It is a grommet rather than an O ring. DSCN0228.JPG

I recently revisited this problem and removed the old O ring with the view of bodging it up with some Tiger Seal, (worked well to seal the holes in my Model A fuel tank). However with the O ring out I was able to take some more detailed measurements and found it be the same as a 1963 - 1966 A Body Mopar listed as 1 11/16" inside diameter for a 2" tank hole. Anyway it arrived today and works a treat. Except it has now shown up a crack in the EVAP canister, but I am hoping a generous helping of Tiger Seal will solve that. Anyway, I hope updating this post helps someone else with the same problem. 20200510_100431.jpg
