It looks complete, but it's a classic example of a car that looks "tired", at least to me. Faded paint (badly, in some spots), faded and wrinkled woodgrain.

I think he's going to have to go some to get anything close to his asking price of $6,750. In its present condition, the car is worth more like $3,000 to $3,500. His ad talks about the potential the car has, which is true, but he's pricing it like that potential has already been realized.

More of that seller "projecting" nonsense.

Seems a bit below Hemmings' usual standards of posting only really nice vehicles on their website....

Does Hemmings review cars before allowing them to be posted on their site? I hadn't heard that. I assumed that, if you're willing to pay, you can advertise any car there. I would assume the fact that you have to pay money at all, and I have no idea what it costs but I would assume it isn't exactly cheap, acts as a sort of filter and keeps the cheaper cars out. But who is Hemmings to say that some guy can't spend $100 to advertise his $50 car if he wants to?

I looked it up just now. Hemmings has several advertising packages.

The Basic package is $49.95 and gets you an online ad for 1 month with up to 25 photos. You also get a print ad in Hemmings Motor News for one month, no photos, 45 word maximum.

The Deluxe package is $89.95, the ad is online for 6 months, and you get up to 35 photos and a video. In the print magazine, you get a one-month ad, one color photo, and 35 words.

The Premium Package is normally $199.95 but is currently on sale for $149.95, and that gets you the same online features as the Deluxe package except 50 photos instead of 35. In the print magazine, you get, for one month, either a 1/6th page color photo or a multi-photo layout in the same space plus up to 75 words.

They also have a "5K Value Package," which you can use if your is asking price is less than $5,000. This gets you 3 months online plus 25 photos as well as one month in the print magazine, no photos, no more than 25 words. This is normally $49.95 (same as the Basic Package) but is currently on sale for $29.95.

No mention of anyone censoring an ad because the car is too ugly.

I think $3K to $3500 would be the right range if this were a Ford, but -- at least a few years ago -- fuselage Mopar wagons, esp Chryslers, were valued higher. If the seller couldn't get at least $5K (assuming no serious rust) for this, I'd be surprised.

    I disagree...
Basic car with only couple options..
    P/W
    A/C
    Cruise
    Rim Blow
    Radio

    Needs paint
    Needs wood
    Needs interior work
Someone would have to REALLY want this car to give
anywhere close to the ASKING price.....

    Okay, seriously???
So this is a legitimate 9-10 second car? I don't think this thing could get up to 140mph ever, much less within the span of 1/4 mile. I don't know enough about Chryslers to say anything on the 440 heads thing, but that sounds suspicious too.

That's it. I'm selling my Hellcat and buying this. Best I got the Hellcat on street tires was 11.2. If I can get this sub 10 (with no roll cage, cut off, chute, etc... to even 10 sec, I could pocket all the other cash for more wagons.
