Interesting that this '70 Chevy has a window switch in the 3rd seat area for the benefit of passengers there. My '81 Pontiac has no such feature - tailgate glass operates only via the key in the tailgate lock cyl from the outside, or the dash switch.

I would commend the seller on what sounds like a very honest description. Tom

As honest as you could ever ask for at $8200 reserve apparently met. I'd ask for MUCH more for this quality and rarity. Will be exciting to watch!

I wouldn't touch that car with a ten foot pole. The seller does describe exactly what you don't want, rust belt rust repairs that will come back to haunt you, there has to be underbody rust going by what the engine compartment looks like. But the car looks good, and everybody knows... "It's better to look good than it is to feel good".:D
Plus the car is green, bad things are just waiting to happen.:nailbiting::D

Repeating the earlier kudos to the seller for being up front and honest. I was in email dialogue with him and he's about as transparent as they get. Very nice guy. If I had the garage space and I wasn't in CA, I'd jump on this one. Love the green too! Same color and same interior as the '70 Caprice Sport Coupe I once had.

I know Chevy wagons go for $, but even if I had it to spend, I couldn't bring myself to plop down $8200+ for a car with rust. At least not a Chevy. A Packard maybe.
