My second 'First car' would've been a 1970 model one of these, 350/T400. But Aunt Karen saw no value in me getting it years later, when she did sell it. Oh, well.

Edit: I just noticed this is a Caprice, Aunt Karen's was an Impala. Same body configuration though, the 2-door hardtop.

Aren't 427-equipped 1969 Impalas with that roofline rarer than the other style of roofline (less upright)? Regardless, this one looks like a nice example. A good detailing and it would look real sharp inside and out. This one would make a perfect car for driving (not just a trailer queen).

I got to drive Aunt Karen's a couple times; for a RWD, it had nice leg and head room.

I bet! They were big cars.

That's actually a Caprice, but has the same roof line as the Impala Custom, although I'm not sure of the 427 production numbers of all three.

Is the 427 less common in the Custom than the Caprice? I guess I was just getting the different rooflines mixed up...

I had to edit my post. Upon a closer look (and failing to read the the topic, lol) I realized that the car is a Caprice. As mentioned, I'm not sure of the production numbers, but I would say the '69 SS 427 would be the most popular one, in comparison to the other B-Body cars in '69 that had a 427.

I noticed another thing in the meantime, it has non original Side Moldings.

The originals in good condition or better are pretty hard to find.
