This looks like the wagon owned by the guy who wrote this article: https://www.hagerty.com/articles-vi...-time-is-still-family-time-6-days-on-route-66 if it is, I loved the story. Sorry to hear he sold it.
Did a quick review of the story. I'm confused. The byline is by Larry Webster, who is a well-known automotive journalist, but all the photos are by someone named 'James Lipman'......... So, who owned the wagon?
I was assuming Larry wrote the story and owned the car and somebody else was along for the ride to take all of the pictures. Kind of like those real life tv shows where they show a guy surviving in the middle of the wilderness by himself...except for the camera crew filming his every move.
It looks like a pretty clean wagon, it's a desirable body style and it has a 427. So, I'm not too surprised the reserve wasn't met at $19,000.
